Standing out from the crowd is essential. Graphic design can be integrated into the video post-shoot. However, it is essential to note that this additional service comes at an extra cost, and quality graphics are expensive because they are very time consuming.

The number of days needed to complete the project will also be extended beyond the original deadline. Still, taking your video production to the next level is often worth the investment.

Our experienced team understands that each project is unique and requires a customized approach. That’s why we work tirelessly to ensure that every graphic design element is specifically tailored to meet your video production requirements.  We will deliver a high-quality video that effectively communicates your message and leave a lasting impression on your audience.

We take pride in our ability to deliver on our promises, and our graphic design services are no exception. We guarantee that our team will work diligently, ensuring that your project is delivered on time and to your satisfaction.

Here’s a helpful guideline to keep in mind:

A week minimum for animation, is realistic.

Due to short attention spans, the ideal length of a video depends on the subject matter and the platform. Consider viewer preferences for maximum engagement.

Some examples…

A Trailer should be between 15-30 seconds.
To kick off a presentation, 90 seconds.
Website material up to 2 minutes.
Niche material up to 4.5 minutes.

Several different edits could potentially enhance the effectiveness of your video campaign. Consider experimenting with a few other edits to see which ones work best for you and help achieve your desired outcome. We can create a video that genuinely stands out and captures your audience’s attention.

Talking heads interview info!

Our goal is to allocate an hour-long slot for each interviewee to ensure we capture enough footage and have the opportunity to do alternate takes. However, individuals who are comfortable speaking on camera may require only 30 minutes. The exact duration of the interview will be determined once we receive the project brief from you.

It’s important to remember that it will take us approximately 2-3 hours to set up everything from the moment we arrive at the location, including bringing in the equipment, configuring the room, and setting up the lights, cameras, and sound. However, it will take us less than 50 minutes to disassemble and pack up all the gear once filming is complete.

When filming multiple interviews, we will switch the placement of the cameras and lighting to the opposite side of the shot. This ensures that the contributors do not appear on the same side during the final edit, providing a fresh and engaging visual experience for the viewer. There are many other technical aspects we consider to ensure success. You may be surprised to learn that interviews are some of the most challenging recordings to make and look good.

Here’s a helpful guideline to keep in mind:
One interview – 4 hours
Two interviews – 5 hours

Did you know that the brain processes videos 60,000 times faster than text? That’s why filmed interviews are a great way to convey information to clients and customers quickly.

Narratives are more engaging and memorable than lists of facts, and video interviews are more effective than written content when retaining information.

Just think of the interviews you have seen or heard about.

During an interview, the interviewee must deliver their key messages. This can significantly impact the outcome, so it’s essential to prioritize and effectively communicate these points.

You can do this in one of two ways, each with pros and cons.

One way to conduct an interview is to use an autocue. The interviewee reads from a screen while looking into the camera, which reflects their image. However, this approach can make the interview appear rehearsed and fake if the interviewee is not experienced using an autocue.

The second approach to address the issue is to give the person bullet points that remind them of the critical messages. This keeps the dialogue natural, but their eyes may flick to one side as they read the bullet point, which an assistant could hold up on a sheet of paper.

Long messages can distract the audience from the key points. Keep the message brief and focus on the crucial elements. Remember, it’s not easy—that’s why we are there to help.

No Green, Nothing too busy or heavily patterned.

When filming against a chroma key background, it’s crucial to avoid wearing the same colour as the background, typically green or blue. This can cause you to blend in and disappear from the image, like a chameleon. We’ll always talk to you before a shoot about this to ensure a successful outcome.

If we plan to film against a coloured backdrop it is recommended that we choose clothing with colours that complement and contrast the background. This technique can create a visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing effect. The selection of clothing that harmonizes with the backdrop can be discussed during the pre-production stage to achieve the desired effect. By using colour-blocking techniques, we can create a visually striking effect that enhances the overall quality of the production.

While the interview will likely be the main focus of filming, it’s important to wear appropriate shoes. Your whole body may be filmed for the B-roll and establishing shots, and comfortable footwear ensures you’re ready for any potential full-body shots.

One final thing to note is that a lapel radio microphone affixed to clothing is often used. To prevent any potential difficulties, wearing layers of clothing  is advisable.

If in doubt, bring a few clothing options.
